Both as a doctor and a parent of a child who had severe scoliosis, I’ve experienced first hand the challenges and uncertainties that come with this condition. The internet is full of misinformation and false cures, making it hard to know where to start or who to trust. I’ve dealt with long wait times and limited access to quality scoliosis care providers. I’ve felt the constant worry of my child’s condition worsening between X-rays. Frustrated with a system that wasn’t working for us, I decided to take control. I interviewed over 60 renown scoliosis spine surgeons, orthotists, and physiotherapists worldwide searching for effective and reliable treatment options. These in-depth interviews were shared through my YouTube channel, which has since gained recognition and support within the scoliosis community.
